Liverpool welcome Sheffield United to Anfield with the Blades in good form since the turn of the new year.

After an early struggle adapting to life in the higher division, Neil Warnock's side earned themselves a real confidence booster when they beat Arsenal over Christmas 1-0 at Bramall Lane.

The two teams met at the start of this season when a Robbie Fowler penalty earned the Reds a point after Rob Hulse had headed the Blades into the lead.

The last time the two sides met at Anfield was the Carling Cup semi-final in 2003 when Liverpool won 3-2 on aggregate.
